Prostate cancer I can see is prostate cancer I can fight

Seeing your prostate cancer clearly helps you fight it confidently

PSMA is a biomarker found in most men with prostate cancer. If you have this biomarker, you are PSMA positive (PSMA+). That means that a PSMA-PET scan can show if and where your cancer has spread in your body. It can also reveal different treatment options.

PSMA is present in more than 80% of men with prostate cancer.

If you are living with metastatic prostate cancer, it's important to understand that PSMA is different from PSA but they work together to give you and your doctor more information about your cancer.

PSA rising equals time to test PSMA. If a PSA test shows PSA rising, a doctor might request a PSMA test called PSMA-PET scan.

Discover what PSMA testing can reveal — bring it up at your next doctor's appointment.

PET, positron emission tomography; PSA, prostate-specific antigen; PSMA, prostate-specific membrane antigen.
